Accessibility Statement

Rama Baby is a small, family run boutique, and we want every parent, grandparent and gift giver to be able to shop with us comfortably. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or other assistive tools.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities, and we use them as our standard when we make changes to our site.

What we do

  • We write text descriptions (alt text) for our product and collection photos, describing the garment, its color, pattern and details.
  • Our store and checkout run on Shopify, built to support keyboard navigation, screen readers and labeled form fields.
  • We review our site regularly and fix issues as we find them.

Known limits

Some parts of our site come from outside partners, such as our loyalty program, returns portal and payment providers. We work with them to improve accessibility, but we do not control everything they build. A small number of older photos may still be missing descriptions while we work through our catalog.
